I'm a cook and food stylist-assistant based in New England, USA and Italy! I love to travel, and am always up for the next adventure.
My experience in the kitchen began early when, at age two, my parents transformed the garage of our small ranch home into a wood-fired artisan bakery. While other kids had play kitchens, my twin sister and I grew up in a real one: Shaping breads, making doughs, and racing each other on our dad’s rolling bread racks. By age thirteen, I was working at the front counter and also flipping pizzas for the bakery’s pizza nights. This unique experience, which lasted until my last years of college, shaped who I am today.
My love of food comes from both my upbringing in the bakery and from watching my Italian parents and grandmother cook. Global cooking was very important in my house growing up, and I was raised with a variety of cuisines alongside our traditional dishes. The process of intuition-based cooking, along with local and seasonal ingredients, informs many of my personal recipes.
